Encouragement for Corporate Worship

At University Baptist Church, we strive to place a strong emphasis on corporate worship. This means every member of the congregation engages in the worship service. We do not come to church primarily to watch worship or to experience worship, but to actively participate in worshiping our Lord! In light of this goal, whether we are singing a hymn together, hearing the reading of the Scriptures, or even listening to a testimony in song, let’s all participate with our hearts and minds. This fulfills our biblical purpose to build up the body of Christ in every part of our worship service (1 Corinthians 14:26).
